Upcoming in June 2026: School Readiness Group Programs
At Your Journey Therapy, we are dedicated to empowering individuals and families through a wide range of evidence-based therapy programs designed to support healing, resilience, and personal growth. We run numerous programs tailored to various needs, including school readiness, social skills classes, targeted programs for fussy eaters, emotional regulation, and fine motor skills/handwriting development.
In addition, we offer specialized programs for parents, covering helpful topics such as parenting styles, strategies for parenting children on the spectrum or with ADHD, and other techniques to support your child’s development and well-being.
We invite you to explore all the programs available on this page and enrol if you find one that suits your needs. If you are seeking a specific program that is not currently listed, please let us know. We are always open to ideas and may consider creating new programs to better serve the community and your individual requirements.
From 12 January to 23 January 2026, Clare will be running the School Readiness and Social Skills program alongside specialised classes (Foodie Friends, Emotion Navigator and Fingertip Fun Factory).

SOS Feeding Program (Sequential Oral Sensory)
School Readiness Program
Sessions will be conducted 9am to 2pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Meadowglen International Athletics Stadium, 146-156 MacDonalds Road, Epping by our highly experienced Developmental Educator, Clare Smyth. With over 10 years of experience as a kindergarten teacher, specialising in children with additional needs, Clare is dedicated to tailoring the program to meet your child’s specific needs.
The program will focus on the following key areas:
- School readiness, encompassing adapting to a structured setting, maintaining focus, following directions, and completing set tasks.
- Building group and social skills.
- Enhancing language and literacy skills.
- Developing fine motor and gross motor skills.
PLEASE NOTE – this program is covered by your NDIS Plan
The program is open to children who are not clients at Your Journey Therapy, if you wish to enrol your child simply contact us on 9267 9048 or via email manager@yourjourneytherapy.com.au and we will go through the enrolment process.
The program, spans over 2 weeks during ALL VICTORIAN school holidays from 9am to 2pm, dates for 2026 are as follows:

Expression of Interest: SOS Feeding Program for Children Who Are Fussy Eaters
We are excited to announce the launch of the SOS (Sequential Oral Sensory) Feeding Program, specially designed for children who are fussy eaters. This program will be run by Clare Smyth, a qualified SOS Feeding Trainer with extensive experience in paediatric therapy. Her credentials include [insert qualifications and certifications] related to feeding and development, ensuring that each child receives the highest standard of support.
Program Overview: The SOS Feeding Program focuses on building a positive relationship with food through structured and fun activities. The approach is tailored to each child depending on the severity of their condition. Some children may benefit from individual sessions, while others may thrive in small group settings.
Schedule and Flexibility: Classes will primarily be held on Saturdays, but we can arrange weekday sessions based on availability. Clare will begin with an initial phone consultation with parents to discuss the child’s needs and how the program can be customized for them.
Costs: The costs will be per hour and will align with NDIS rates. For private clients, we will provide a quote after the initial phone consultation has been conducted.

Independent Lifestyle Program
A Transdisciplinary Program for Personalised Care
Are you or someone you know struggling with daily tasks due to a physical or cognitive impairment?
Our Independent Lifestyle Program may be the solution for you!
Our program is a combination of Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy, providing a transdisciplinary approach to cater to the unique needs of each individual. Our experienced Registered Speech Pathologist and Registered Occupational Therapist work together to develop a personalised plan based on your specific needs.
The program is executed over two weeks, with one week being led by a Speech Pathologist and the other week by an Occupational Therapist. This ensures a comprehensive and well-rounded approach to your care.
Our program focuses on the following areas:
Self-care: Learn techniques and strategies to improve personal grooming, hygiene, and overall self-care.
Scheduling: Develop a routine that works for you, allowing for more structure and organisation in your daily life.
Transport access: Improve your ability to navigate public transport or driving, enabling more independence in your community.
Cooking: Develop skills and strategies to make meal preparation easier and more
enjoyable.
With our Independent Lifestyle Program, you will receive a personalised plan that is tailored to your unique needs, ensuring that you are able to reach your goals and
maintain your independence.
