When I’m not working, you may find me at church, playing basketball, dancing in random places I enjoy spending time with my family, camping, travelling, and participating in sports. I’ve always been interested in health, but my interest in occupational therapy began when my mother needed a liver transplant and needed to visit an OT. My curiosity in this field increased from there, and I fell in love with everything OT.

I am a mother of 2 and have come from an industry completely different to my current role. I have been a Patisserie trainer for the past 14 years. 2020 sparked my interest in Mental health and I pursued a Certificate IV in Mental Health. My curiosity for Speech Therapy resulted in my Godson being diagnosed with ASD since he was 2 years old. I have always wanted to work with kids but not in a childcare setting and when this opportunity came, I fell in love with the job immediately. I have so much to learn but I also have so much that I can give. The ability to make even the smallest difference in a child’s life is rewarding.

As an AHPRA-registered Provisional Psychologist, I have accumulated four years of experience working with neurodiverse children and five years of experience working with children with intellectual difficulties in an educational setting.

My professional interests focus on family dynamics, relationships, and the development of self-concept. Additionally, I am passionate about identifying and addressing stuck points in children with special needs.

Ayshah’s vision is to help her clients and their families reach their full potential by making sure they are involved in goal setting and progress each step of the way. Ayshah has experience working in multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary teams in private practice and school-based settings.
